SURFACE PREPARATION

All surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease or

any loose material.

New Unpainted Cement or Plaster Surfaces: If the surface is dry and

absorbent, apply one coat of Duracoat Alkali Resistant Primer or Duracoat

Universal Undercoat. Follow up with 2-3 coats of Duracoat Vinyl Matt Deluxe

Emulsion with recommended thinning.

Previously Painted Surfaces: If the existing paint work is in good condition,

then the surface should be cleaned, rubbed down and 2-3 coats of Duracoat

Vinyl Matt Deluxe Emulsion applied.

Brick and Asbestos Surfaces: These should be sealed with one coat

of Duracoat Acrylic Sealer to reduce absorption followed by 2-3 coats of

Duracoat Vinyl Matt Deluxe Emulsion Paint.

For a Smooth and Uniform Finish, use Duracoat Smotex Lite or Duracoat

Internal and External Skimcoat for Skimming.

PRECAUTIONS

• Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.

• Store the product at ambient conditions in well ventilated locations

and away from sources of ignition and fire.

• Avoid eye and skin contact. In case of eye and skin contact, wash

with plenty of clean water. If symptoms persist, seek medical

advice.

• Do not inhale or ingest. In case of inhalation, move to fresh air and

seek medical attention if symptoms persist in both the cases.

• Use appropriate personal protective equipment.

• In high humidity areas, use of a bio wash solution is recommended

to remove surface fungus growth, fungal spores, mould etc. before

application of the paint system.

APPLICATION

• Stir thoroughly before and during use.

• Always use a good quality brush.

• Try to paint in one motion.

• Always pretest on a small area first.

NOTE

• When over coating a dark shade with a light shade, three coats may

be required.

• The best way to remove wall stains is to remove them immediately.

• To remove wall stains, sponge clean with a mild soap/detergent

solution and wipe clean.
