DURACOAT SUPERGLOSS ENAMEL

Duracoat Super Gloss Enamel is a premium quality protective finish

having a rich deep gloss on properly prepared surfaces. This premium

quality paint is based on high quality oil modified alklyd resin, reinforced

with polyurethane and high grade lighfast pigments.

TECHNICAL DATA

FINISH: Rich full Gloss

SPREAD RATE: 12-15 Sq.Mt/ltr when applied on a smooth, non-porous

surface

DRYING TIME: Surface Dry: 2-4 hours Recoating Time: 16 hours

APPLICATION: By Brush Roller Or Spray

SURFACE PREPARATION

All surfaces to be painted must be clean dry and free from dust, grease or

any loose material. For a smooth uniform finish, use Duracoat Smotex Lite

or Duracoat Internal and External Skim Coat for Skimming on concrete

walls.

New Wood Surfaces: Apply one coat of Duracoat Pink or White Wood

Primer or AluminiumWood Primer followed by one coat of Duracoat

Universal Undercoat. When fully dry apply two coats of Duarcoat Super

Gloss Enamel 16hours of Drying time in between coats

Metal Surfaces: Apply one coat of Duracoat Red Oxide Zinc Chromate

Primer to ferrous substrates and Duracoat Etching primer before applying

Duracoat Zinc Phosphate Primer to non-ferrous surfaces followed by

one coat of Duracoat Universal undercoat. Follow on with two coats of

Duracoat High Gloss Enamel allowing 16 hours drying time between

coats. See technical data on primers for specific metals.

Previously Painted Surfaces: Rub clean all loose flaking and powdery

material from the existing surface. Rub down using sand paper to provide

a key finish. Apply two coats of Duracoat Super Gloss Enamel allowing

16hours of drying time in between coats.

Product: Duracoat Supergloss Enamel

Thinner: Duracoat White Spirit

Ratio: 1 litre Duracoat White Spirit to 4 litres Supergloss Enamel (1:4)

Coats: 2 coats

Application: Brush, Roller or Spray.

Drying Time: Touch dry: 2-4 hours: Recoat: 16 hours
